GOAL: Open the front line of the body and stretch the tight muscles of the chest
SET-UP: Seated, Standing
REPETITIONS: 8 - The full stretch takes the arms all the way back to the butt and then up and over the body all the ways to thighs
DETAILS: The muscles of our chest get extremely tight when you are both pre & postnatal. These tight muscles round the shoulders forward and cause pain and discomfort. Stretch out the pecs using the theraband and open up the front of the body. As you take the arms over your head and back be sure not to flare the ribs open - loosen up the theraband instead.
